Island Beach is a quiet spot on the western side of Dudley Peninsula near to the main port town of Penneshaw. The fine white sands stretch out for several kilometers along this unspoilt coastline making it an ideal getaway spot. A shallow bay, the surf here is gentle and ideal for families.

Island Beach has a number of small private guest houses and holiday accommodations with panoramic views over the beach, but as the main road is set back from the beach, it has that quiet and isolated feel but is still easily accessible and conveniently close to the main ferry terminal a short drive away.
