Cox Bay - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
Panorama taken from the beach at Cox Bay at low tide. As the tide was going out exposing the sand spit leading out to Frank Island, the wet sand reflected the sky and shoreline, acting like a mirror. This effect only lasted a few minutes before the water seeped below and the sand dried out. Though early spring, numerous surfers were still in the water, a testament to both their dedication and the popularity of the beaches in this area for surfing.
