Hong Kong Central Library - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
There is a pleasant fountain in front of the Hong Kong Central Library. This panorama was taken here and shows both the fountain and part of the library building itself. The library is close to Victoria Park.

Hong Kong Central Library - Hong Kong visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Hong Kong Central Library' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Hong Kong.
A sculpted waterfall garden greets visitors to the Hong Kong Central Library, the main library for the Hong Kong area. As you step through the arch shaped doorway symbolising the "Gateway to Knowledge" you are led into this principle library where there are a wealth of resources in both printed and digital formats. Specialist libraries for law, business, education, creativity, cartography and of course literature are available.
The Library building itself is facing on to Victoria Park. The interior of the building is impressive with glass elevators and escalators between the eleven floors, it resembles a wealthy business office tower. There's a cafe, extensive comfort facilities for patrons of all ages - even a toy library for the young ones!
Run by the Leisure and Cultural Service Department, as with many attractions in and around Hong Kong, you can be sure that facilities are of the highest standard and you have their extensive resources available on demand.
