Pui O River - FURTHER INFORMATION
Pui O River - Hong Kong visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Pui O River' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Hong Kong.
Pui O is a small village on the southern side of Lantau Island, Hong Kong. The wetlands between the village and the beach are fed by a couple of rivers. This panorama shows the river to the east of the village. It feeds into Pui O Wan to the left of the beach, but the beach is not accessible from here.
Pui O is popular for camping. The village has not been spoilt by the construction of hotels, and remains as it has been for a long time. There is a local Tin Hau Temple which was built in 1799, and water buffalo graze in the meadows around the village.
