Silver River at feeds into Silver Mine Bay Mui Wo. Part of the river flows down the canal seen in this panorama, but another section splits off the river a little inland and flows into the bay traversing Silvermine Beach. Mui Wo is on the eastern edge of Lantau Island in Hong Kong, close to Pui O. The Silver River flows past Silver Mine Cave and Silver Mine Waterfall.

Ferry: Central (Pier 6) on Hong Kong Island. Ferries also run to Discovery Bay, Peng Chau, Chi Ma Wan and Cheung Chau.
Bus: Tung Chung (3M) and thus Hong Kong Airport (A35)
