Mui Wo Quay - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
A panorama showing the quay at Mui Wo. The quay is lined with apartments and hotels, with a number of small shops (and even a McDonalds) along the front. Most of the railings are obscured by cycles. The white building lit up to the east is the ferry pier serving Mui Wo.
Mui Wo Quay - FURTHER INFORMATION
Mui Wo Quay - Hong Kong visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Mui Wo Quay' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Hong Kong.
Mui Wo used to be the main entrance point to Lantau Island in Hong Kong before the opening of the Ngong Ping Skyrail terminal at Tung Chung. Today the terminal is still popular landing point as the bus ride over the island can take over an hour and buses are not that frequent (the bus terminal is near the pier). Thus Mui Wo provides a picturesque landing site to explore nearby fishing villages like Pui O. From the pier it is a short walk to the Silver River and Silvermine Beach.
