Panorama taken at the beach by Pui O. It was low tide, and the receding sea had left horizontal lines in the sand. Groups of children were playing games on the beach overseen by teachers. Surrounded by the hills of Lantau Island, this is a lovely beach to relax on.

Pui O sits on the southern side of Lantau Island in Hong Kong, close to Mui O. Set at the end of Pui O Wan, this curved, sandy beach is popular with visitors to the island, and there is a lifeguard station on the beach. This beach is not as busy as Silvermine Beach at Mui Wo.

Access to the beach is via a gravel track form the South Lantau Road as it passes through Piu O. There are camp sites next to the beach.

Ferry: From Central (Pier 6) on Hong Kong Island to Mui Wo and then bus.
Bus: From Tung Chung to Mui Wo (3M)
