I Want to Ride My Bicycle - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT

What else do you call a panorama that shows, well, bicycles? It could have been 'Bicycles at Mui Wo' but that is boring. As seen in this picture, cycling is still a major form of transport around Mui Wo on Lantau Island. The shed next to the ferry pier was rammed full of them. The picture also shows, mostly hidden by the bikes, a couple of fishing boats.

I Want to Ride My Bicycle - FURTHER INFORMATION

I Want to Ride My Bicycle - Hong Kong visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'I Want to Ride My Bicycle' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Hong Kong.

This cycle park is to the left of the quay and ferry pier at Mui Wo, a small village on Lantau Island in Hong Kong. Ferries frequently serve other parts of Hong Kong, and this is an easy and popular way for workers to travel.

TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE

Ferry: Central (Pier 6) on Hong Kong Island. Ferries also serve Discovery Bay, Peng Chau, Chi Ma Wan and Cheung Chau.
Bus: Tung Chung (3M) and then Hong Kong Airport (A35)
