The Tian Tan Buddha is one of the major tourist attractions of Hong Kong, with over 1 million visitors a year. Having ascended up the 268 steps to the sitting Buddha, visitors are rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding area.

TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE

Bus: Mui Wo to Ngong Ping (NLB 2), Tung Chung to Ngong Ping (NLB 23).
Gondola / Cable Car: From Tung Chung to Ngong Ping.
From Hong Kong Central either catch a ferry to Mui Wo, or the sky train to Tung Chung.
