A second panorama showing the beach near to Tong Fuk on Lantau Island. it was mid afternoon at low tide, exposing a gently sloping beach leading to a shallow bay set among the hills on the south coast of Lantau Island. Receding water had left striated marks in the sand. There was no one else on the beach. Most people simply pass through Tong Fuk on their way to the Tian Tan Buddha at Ngong Ping without stopping.

This beach is near to Tong Fuk on the southern edge of Lantau Island. Tong Fuk is a moderately popular holiday destination on the island. This beach is a short walk to west of Tong Fuk. The main beach at Tong Fuk is closer to the village itself, but is busier.

Bus: From Tung Chung to Ngong Ping and Tai O. Tong Fuk is also on the bus route from Mui Wo and Cheung Sha to Tai O.
