The pond showin in this picture is about half way between the Conservatory and Cook's Cottage in Fitzroy Gardens. The gardens are just to the east of the CBD in Melbourne.
Fitzroy Gardens contain numerous other attractions and are close to several other important sights in Melbourne, including the City Museum, Parliament House and St. Patrick's Cathedral.
