Grahamstown lake is a large reservoir next to Raymond Terrace in Port Stephens in New South Wales. The lake used to be moors (Grahamstown Moors) and was created artificially to provide a water supply for the surrounding area. It is linked to the Williams River by the Balikera Canal. The project stared in 1957 and the first water from the new lake was used in 1960, some years before the whole scheme was completed.
Today the lake is also used for recreation. Richmond Terrace contains an information center about Port Stephens, and the lake is next to a main traffic route to Nelson Bay from the Hunter Valley region.
