The Wimborne Road Cemetery is a large cemetery close to the center of Bournemouth in Dorset. In the center of the cemetery stands the church of Saint Joseph of Arimathea, shown in this panoramic image, which is part of the British Eparchy of the Celtic Orthodox Church. Joseph of Arimathea donated his new tomb to be used for the burial of Jesus after his crucifixion.
Wimborne Cemetery contains several notable graves, among which are the graves of Frederick George Abberline, who was in charge of the 'Jack the Ripper' muder investigation in the late 1800's. Another is the grave of Francis Mawson Rattenbury, who built several notable buildings in Victoria on Vancouver Island in Canada (including the provincial BC Parliament building).
