Queen Street runs all the way across the middle of Brisbane from Victoria Bridge to the west of the Brisbane CBD. Much of the road is pedestrianized and lined with shops. The main Brisbane tourist information office is also found on Queen Street. Near the Victoria Bridge end of the street is a plaza and a magnificent classical style building, now used as a hotel and casino. Many major landmarks of Brisbane are close to Queen Street, including ANZAC Square and King George Square.
