This panorama shows the view from the top of the cliffs near Boscombe Pier from East Overcilff Drive. At the bottom of the cliff is the vast stretch of sandy beach Bournemouth is famous for. There is a line of beach hut roofs along the back of the beach. The cliff top is lined with numerous hotels and appartments. Boscombe Pier itself was being refurbished when this panorama was taken.

East Overcliff Drive runs along the cliff top from Bournemouth Pier above Bounemouth Beach and Boscombe Beach. The top of the cliff is lined with hotels. On a good day it is possible to see all the way over to the Isle of Wight or to Old Harrys Rocks and Swanage.

A park and ride service is in operation between Boscombe bus station and Boscombe Pier during the summer months. There is limited parking at the pier itself along the promenade.
