Point Jerningham - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT

A panorama taken late in the afternoon from Jerningham Point, showing a view over Wellington Harbour and Port Nicholson. This is a popular point for shore line fishing and numerous people line the shore with rods. The day was heavily overcast, giving a moody image in the late sun.

Point Jerningham is a point jutting into Wellington Harbour that separates the bay of Central Wellington from Evans Bay inlet. A road runs along the whole coastline weaving around the bays and hills.
