Chaffers Marina is next to Clyde Quay Boat Harbour on the south side of the bay in Wellington. It is built between the Te Papa Our Place Museum and the Overseas Passenger Ferry Terminal. The marina was completed in 1993, and has 167 berths. It is protected by an outer wall, situated in inner Wellington Harbour. The marina caters for both temporary and permanent moorings, with a few people living aboard their boats. Overlooking Chaffers Marina is the famous The Port Café, which serves excellent food.

TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
From central Wellington, take Jervois Quay and Cabe St onto Oriental Parade. Herd Street turns lift into Chaffers Marina. Oriental Parade continues east past Oriental Bay before passing Point Jerningham and turning south for Evans Bay.
