The children's playground is set in the heart of the Botanic Gardens in Wellington. They contain climbing frames, slides, sea-saws and other things designed to keep children happy and enable parents to relax. The playground is about 10 minutes walk from the cable car entrance to the gardens, and about 10 minutes walk from the Lower entrance on Tinakori Road.

By cable car from Cable Car Lane, through the historic Bolton Street Memorial Park or via the lower entrance on Glenmore Street.
