Queens Wharf - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
This panorama was taken from the under the covered area on Queens Wharf on the waterfront of Wellington Harbour in Central Wellington. The area feels like being under an open tent, with the material stretched out like canvas or 3 interlaced sails, clearly visible on the satellite view of the Google map of Wellington if you zoom in.

Queens Wharf is on Harbourside in Wellington. This is one of the busiest parts of the waterfront, lined with restaurants and bars, and the location of the Academy of Fine Arts, Synergy and the Queens Wharf Events Centre. The Museum Of Wellington City And Sea is also located here. Helipro, which offers sight-seeing helicopter rides and sight seeing tours, is based on the end of Queens Wharf. The Harbour ferry to Day's Bay also departs from here.
Harbourside has many sights and attractions for visitors. Close to many of the central hotels, a promenade allows visitors to walk along the waterfront. Just south of Queens Wharf, this walk passes Frank Kitts Park and City Sea Bridge, close to Civic Square and the Town Hall. It then continues past the Hikitia Floating Crane Ship before turning the corner the Te Papa Museum and the Circa Theatre. From here the walk continues east past Chaffers Wharf and Clyde Quay Boat Harbour to Oriental Bay and beach.
