The Lady Chapel is at the far eastern end of Winchester Cathedral in Winchester. The fabric of the chapel dates from the 1300's though it is thought that the interior was re-modeled around 1498 to the present form by Queen Elizabeth, wife of King Henry VII.
The Lady Chapel is decorated with a beautiful series of early 16th century wall-paintings depicting Miracles of Our Lady. The golden reredos commemorates the Hampshire novelist, Charlotte Young. Outside the Lady Chapel in the retroquire is a statue of Joan of Arc.
