Frank Kitts Park - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
This panorama was taken in Frank Kitts Park, and shows the 'Fruits of the Gardens' sculpture, which is quite distinctive with what looks like chillies either side of the lower part of a female torso with an apple poised top on the right hip.

Frank Kitts Park is a popular park in Wellington just south of Queens Wharf on the harbour. The park is named after the longest serving mayor of Wellington (1956-74) and is built on reclaimed land that used to be a wharf. It was established in 1976 and extended in the 1980's forming a popular focus of the redevelopment of the harbour. The 'Fruits of the Garden' sculpture by Paul Dibble raises much comment, standing out against the harbour skyline.
The just south of the park are the City to Sea Bridge, which leads to Civic Square and a footbridge crossing over the entrance to the Lagoon joining the harbour promenade again continuing past the Hikitia crane ship to the Te Papa Museum.
