Collins Street Bridge - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
This panorama was taken from the bridge over Wurundjeri Highway on Collins Street. I was taken by the bright yellow top of the bridge railings which form a kind of frame to the Melbourne city skyline. In the park below is a massive sculpture of a bird of prey sitting on top of a large column looking at the cars passing beneath.

This bridge is part of Collins Street, and runs along the southern edge of the Southern Cross Railway Station in Melbourne, eventually joining with Waterview Walk. The statue stands in the devide between traffic lanes of the Wurundjeri Highway (known locally as the Docklands Highway). There is a tram terminus on this road, and it also passes some dis-used railway sheds.
