The Church of St. Elisabeth in Bratislava is more commonly called the 'Blue Church' due to the striking blue decor of both the inside and exterior of the building. In Slovak it is known as either 'Kostol svätej Alžbety' or 'Modrý kostolík'. The Blue Church is an Art Nouveau style Catholic church that is found in the Old Town, and consecrated to Elisabeth of Hungary.
The Blue Church was built between 1907-1908 and has one nave. The interior is oval with a barrel vault and hip roof. The church has a 36.8m high tower. The interior is richly decorated with an illustration of St. Elisabeth giving to the poor on the altar.
