Bratislava CastleStairwell - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
A panorama taken from the main staircase of Bratislava Castle. The stairwell reminded me very much of an M.C. Escher painting.

Bratislava Castle sits on the top of Little Carpathians (Malé Karpaty), a hill just west of the Old Town of Bratislava. It is referred to as 'Bratislavský hrad' in Slovak, 'Pressburger Schloss' in German and 'Pozsonyi Vár' in Hungarian. The castle houses the Historical Collection (which includes the Silver Treasure) and Music Collection of the Slovak National Museum. There are panoramic views from the top of the Castle which reach all the way into Austria and, on a good day, as far as Hungary
