Boort in Victoria state is service town in the Mallee area situated between several small lakes and is renowned for its birdlife and watersports. It is 251Km north of Melbourne, 103Km north of Bendigo. It is near to the towns of Horsham, Charlton, Echuca, Shepparton, Maryborough and Seymour. It lies to the north east of the Grampians National Park.
