The Museum of Wellington City & Sea stands at the entrance to Queens Wharf and Harbourside in Wellington. Entrance to the museum is free, it has a reputation of being one of the best museums in Wellington and is free to visit.

The museum has 6 collections, of which the largest is the Object Collection. This panorama shows some of the objects from this collection that are on display within the museum. This makes up about 5% of the entire collection that the museum has. Within the Object Collection are the Pain collection of Mãori taonga, boats, communications equipment, furniture, lifesaving equipment, machinery/tools, medals and coins, navigation equipment, ship fittings and equipment, ship models and tableware.
