The Museum of Wellington City & Sea stands at the entrance to Queens Wharf and Harbourside in Wellington. Entrance to the museum is free.
As the museum website states, the Image Collection 'includes approximately 30,000 prints, 10,000 negatives plus slides and transparencies, and photograph albums. Film and videos are also included in this collection. Subjects include sail and steam ships, lighthouses and keepers, ports and a small number of seafaring personnel'. Together these present a unique insight into the life and times past during the history of Wellington.
