- Antarctica - The bottom of the world, with life like dioramas exploring the wonders of Antarctica, it's explorers and animals like the Emperor Penguins.
- Windows on the World - artifacts from all over the earth, including an amazing collection of glass models of marine invertebrates made by father and son glassworkers, Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka. Chinese glass snuff bottles dating form 1644-1911 AD. This and more from everywhere.
- Iwi tawhito - Treasures from the ancestors. The Iwi Tawhito and Ngā Taonga galleries display artifacts from the First Peoples including Kiwi feather cloaks (Kahu kiwi) worn by the rulers, Moa eggs and other carvings.
