Sacred Heart Cathedral in Bendigo is the largest cathedral in Victoria outside Melbourne and reputedly the last Early Gothic style cathedral built in the world. It was designed by the architect W Tappin in 1887 and work commenced in 1896 but it wasn't completed until the bell was finally added in 2003!
