Pigeon Bay - FURTHER INFORMATION
Pigeon Bay - Banks Peninsula visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Pigeon Bay' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Canterbury.
Pigeon Bay is a very remote and small settlement on the northern side of the Banks Peninsula. It lies between Port Levy and little Akaloa. The area is not popular with tourists as access is limited, but provides more stunning scenery typical of the region. The road from Port Levy is a narrow, rutted, dirt track. On the way there are great views over Holmes Bay. There is a paved road from here across the Banks Peninsula to Duvauchelle and Akaroa.
