St Andrew's Church on Nathan Road is the oldest Protestant church in the Kowloon district of Hong Kong, and part of the Anglican Commune. The church first opened in 1906, built on simple Gothic lines with a steeple on the front right of the building. During the Japanese occupation of WWII, St Andrew's was used as a Shinto shrine, but was re-dedicated as a Christian church after the war in 1959. The old Vicarage has been renovated and now serves as a multi-purpose meeting center, whose upper floor is fully dedicated for use as a Youth Centre.
For more information about worship at St Andrew's Church, community values and programmes, please see the St Andrew's Church website. The church is near the northeast corner of Kowloon Park.
