The is an open area of the park, and some of the nearby tall office blocks are clearly seen dominating the skyline. At the time this panorama was taken, a massive clock was counting down the time to the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The picture was taken in the morning on a cloudless, sunny day.

The 'Landmark' is an area near the northern end of Kowloon Park in Hong Kong. To the north are many of the official administrative buildings of the park, including the Security Guard Room and Yau Tsim Mong District Leisure Service Group offices. Other facilites here include a restaurant, arcade, sports hall and swimming pool. Just to the west is a children's playground, while to the south are the aviary and the Chinese Garden. Beyond this is the Sculpture Walk.
Other nearby attractions include St Andrew's Church and the Tin Hau Temple.
