It was quite windy at the time this picture was taken and a number of individuals were kite surfing in the water. You can just about see the kites in the clear skies.

Hobsons Bay is the body of water by Port Melbourne. It is lined with numerous beaches, which are very popular with visitors and locals alike. Among them are Beaconsfield Beach and Port Melbourne Beach. These are lined with luxury apartments and holiday homes, offering stunning views over the sea and sand. Hobsons Bay is very close to the center of Melbourne and the Yarra River flows into it. Hobsons Bay is also the name of one of the administrative districts of Melbourne.
