San Francisco's Pier 39 is a magnet for tourists, claiming to be the most visited tourist attraction in the USA. Naturally, it has excellent family-orientated facilities including this amusement carousel in the center of the two storey shopping mall with restaurants and cafes. It is a close call, though, whether the children prefer the beautiful carousel or the endearing Sea Lions as the most fun and memorable attraction during their visit. Young or young-at-heart, Pier 39 and the Fisherman's Wharf area have a wealth of attractions to engage and entertain all tastes.
