Rodeo Beach - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
Panorama from Rodeo Beach on the Marin Headlands. The beach here is quite unusual having two shores. One faces the Pacific Ocean and the other the Rodeo Lagoon. In effect, Rodeo Beach is a coarse sand bar separating the two. It was very windy when I took this panorama, and the camera had to be cleaned from salt spray afterwards. The buildings of the Headlands Institute line the far side of Rodeo Lagoon. To the south is Bird Island.
