Mount Lee is on the western edge of Griffith Park, on the northern edge of , just north of Hollywood. The famous Hollywood sign is installed on the southern side of Mt Lee and is visible for miles. It has become a major tourist attraction in Hollywood and Los Angeles, but access to places near the sign are severely restricted.

Car: Continue north from Hollywood to the end of North Beachwood Drive, where there is limited parking, and then walk. The walk from here to Mt Lee takes about an hour.
