The Hollywood Sign on the southern face of Mount Lee is one of the most famous signs in the world. It overlooks Hollywood and most of Los Angeles, and thousands of people drive up into the hills north of Hollywood just to take a picture of it. Few people actually continue to explore the natural beauty of Griffith Park, which affords horse riding and walking tracks.

Car: Continue north from Hollywood to the end of North Beachwood Drive, where there is limited parking, and then walk. The walk from here to Mt Lee takes about an hour.
