NewQuay is part of Waterfront City development at Victoria Docks, to the west of Melbourne CBD. This picture shows part of phase 2 of the development porgramme in progress. On the wharf is the partially completed 'Southern Star Observation Wheel'. This 100m diameter wheel is modeled on the famous London Eye ferris wheel in London. The development will include more shopping and entertainment facilities, restaurants, a cinema and outdoor spaces.
