It shows a view along the river and part of Central Melbourne by Federation Wharf. Along the river is Princes Bridge. Beside the river here are a number of boat sheds.

The Yarra River flows through the middle of Melbourne on the last leg of it's journey to the ocean by Beaconsfield Beach. This picture shows, taken from the Domain on the eastern edge of the city, shows both Federation Wharf and Federation Square Theatre on the opposite side of the Yarra River and Princes Bridge to the left, the first bridge of Central Melbourne under which it flows.
