Tormes River source - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
The birth of the river Tormes at an altitude of over 2500 meters represents the typical mountain landscape in the mountainous central Castilian region. Typical mountain vegetation consists of coniferous trees which, along this river bank, makes an ideal habitat in which to observe high-altitude mountain wildlife (trout, Arctic charr, otter, partridge, triton, eagle and ibex) A perfect place for hiking, cycling, fishing and paragliding.
