This path leads up to the radio station above the Hollywood Sign on the southern face of Mount Lee. This is the most famous signs and landmark in in Los Angeles. From the top of Mount Lee there are panoramic views over Hollywood and much of the surrounding area. Most people drive to the Beachwood Canyon viewpoint to see the Hollywood sign and do not walk up into the hills. Another good viewpoint of the Hollywood Sign is on Mulholland Way, though parking is restricted and this requires a walk in from nearby.
TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
Car: Continue north from Hollywood to the Beachwood Canyon at the end of North Beachwood Drive, where there is limited parking, and then walk. The walk from here to Mt Lee takes about an hour.
