Merced River - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
Panorama showing the Merced River as it meanders along the bottom of Yosemite Valley in Yosemite National Park. This panorama was taken in late spring, after most of the snow in the region had melted, and so the river was not as full as it could be. In the picture you can see the pine forests that cover much of the park, and rounded stones formed by years of weathering. This picture was taken from the banks of the river as it passes close to Wanona Road.
