The Happy Isles are a couple of islands in the Merced River a little east of Yosemite Valley Village in Yosemite National Park. There are a number of walks around here, and the trail head for Vernal Falls, Emerald Pool, Nevada Falls and then on to Half Dome starts from nearby.

The Happy Isles can be accessed by free bus from Yosemite Village. The loop road to Happy Isles is only open to the bus, bicycles or disabled vehicles. The nearest public car park is near Curry Village, and from there you must walk in.
