Off the beaten track for tourists visiting Ayutthaya, the Hua Road Market is on the northeastern corner of the island just off Thanon U Thong. It is a general market that sells all kinds of day to day goods and produce. Nearby there is a night market at Hua Raw.

At the rear of the market this narrow bridge crosses the Lpburi River, linking the island to the outlying areas. It is heavily used by bikes that weave between the stalls to get to it.
