One of several rocky escarpments 160Km south of Alice Springs, this spectacular landscape has fascinating geological formations carved out as the wind and rain have eroded the rock over generations. Not far away is perhaps the most famous natural landmark in Australia - the Ayers Rock and Mount Olga, also known as Uluru and Kata Tjuta.
