Towan Head is just to the west of Newquay in Cornwall. On the top of the headland is the Headland Hotel, a luxury, four star hotel with commanding position and views of the surrounding area. Fistral Beach itself offers excellent surfing opportunities and is reported to be one of the best surfing beaches in the area. The beach is also popular with holiday makers who come here at sunset to watch the sun set over the ocean.
