Cabeço da Neve - FURTHER INFORMATION
Cabeço da Neve - Viseu visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Cabeço da Neve' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Beira Interior.
Mountain peaks offer spectacular panoramic viewpoints and this view over the forests, villages and vast plains of the Beira Interior is no exception. A popular location for hand gliding and 'air sports', this rocky Granite and Schist mountain is great for hiking, trekking, trail walking and mountain biking - and the more adventurous air sports, too!
Between Beira and Beira Litoral, the Serra do Caramulo mountain range is known for the purity of its snow melt-water filled rivers, fresh air and 'untouched' picturesque green forest landscape. Ideal for invigorating hiking treks over challenging trails through valleys and up to breath-taking peaks with views such as this.
A little to the west lie Caramulo village and Caramulinho, the highest peak in the Sierra Caramulo with views as far as the Serra da Estrela and Atlantic Ocean on a good day.
