Leaving Menorca

Traveling from Mallorca to Menorca can be done in one of two ways. You can either fly from Palma in Mallorca to Menorca Airport near Mao, or you can take the ferry.

The ferry is often much cheaper than flying, you can choose a ferry that either arrives at Mao or Cuitadella. This image was taken as the ferry left Cuitadella in Menorca traveling back to Mallorca after having spent 2 days taking the other panoramas of the beaches and other places in Menorca in 2006. Cuitadella is built around a very deep cala, and leaving it is very pretty on a clear day.

This is a regular crossing made between Cuitadella in Menorca to Alcudia on the northern coast of Mallorca. From there you can either catch a coach or train to other parts of Mallorca including Palma.
