Studland from Walk to Old Harry Rocks - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT
Panorama of Studland Bay and beach taken form the top of the cliff walk on the way out to Old Harry Rocks. The picture was taken in the afternoon, and the end of the cliffs are still in the sun. It was a clear sunny day, and there are numerous boats playing around in Studland Bay.

This viewpoint is on the path to Old Harry Rocks and overlooks Studland Bay in Dorset. The view from here on a clear day extends all the way round Shell Bay through and along Bournemouth Beach ending up at Hengistbury Head. Beyond that, in the Solent, sits the Isles of Wight.
Studland is popular for both it's beaches and the coastal walks which continue along the cliff tops to Swanage. These chalk cliffs are part of the famous Jurassic Coast and part of a World Heritage Site. They are being continually eroded by the sea and one day Old Harry Rocks will collapse.
