The High Street in Lymington leaves the A337 and descends a hill to Gosport Street. The street is the shopping heart of Lyminton, and off it is also the Tourist Information Centre and numerous hotels. At the top end of the hill is Lymington Parish Church and at the bottom a pedestrianised lane leads down to Quay Street and the Old Town Quay.
TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
Lymington just outside the southern edge of the New Forest on the coast facing the Isle of Wight. It is about miles east of Bournemouth and 12 miles east of Christchurch on the A337. From Lyndhurst take the A337 10 miles south. From Southampton, follow the A35 first to Lyndhurst and then the A337 as above.
